JULY GOALS + a June round up
Another month, another set of goals. So in honour of the beginning of July... here are my July goals! My big goal for June was to spend more time reconnecting with my toddler. Obviously, that is a goal for my life as a whole but after a few busy months I decided I needed to refocus and concentrate on getting down and playing with my boy more! We have been to soft play, we have been to fire station open days, but most importantly we have mostly been playing and doing the things ... Continue Reading
Another month, another trying to conceive disaster
Another month, another period. Another failed month trying to conceive I apologise to those who are squeamish and think that is far too TMI. You may wish to stop reading if that is how you are feeling. But this month marks yet another unsuccessful cycle and rather than getting used to the pain and disappointment I am finding each and every cycle more and more difficult. My heart is with Manchester and parents everywhere.
I had a whole load of posts I planned to be writing today about an array of different parenting things but in light of the horrific events in Manchester last night I am finding myself unable to focus. Both last night's tragedy and the news of the poor little girl who died on her school trip to the theme park have left me reeling and in tears for the families of those involved. Parenthood is such a hard battle and one of the joys of this battle is letting your child off free into the world ... Continue Reading
Infertility Journey: Got a diagnosis.
So as I mentioned in my previous post I have been MIA due to a lot going on with trying to conceive. I mentioned last year about the early miscarriage we experienced in November, I shared a 'month in the life' vlog over on my youtube channel and I began to explain that it looks like we are experiencing secondary infertility. Well in March we reached our 1 year trying to conceive anniversary which is the point at which the doctors will begin investigating why you haven't fallen pregnant yet ... Continue Reading
