Welcome to our house + Moving vlog and house tour

As you may remember we moved house in August and I finally managed to get round to uploading the moving vlog and house tour after finally sorting out our internet issues.

We are so happy with our lovely little house and have definitely enjoyed the benefits of buying a new build so basically not having to do anything to it. Although downside is we can’t paint until we have been in a year because of guarantee reasons for the builders. In the coming weeks I will show you the ‘after’ stage one of everything we have done to the house, how our furniture is arranged etc of all the rooms and then next year when we can paint I’ll do finished tours. Until then here is our blank canvas we have made our home. We are fast making this house a home and it is so exciting! Read more to see the pictures!

The kitchen: This is my favourite room of the house, I always dreamed of having a kitchen dinner and we actually didn’t get the opportunity to chose the finishes of anything in the house but I so wanted wooden counter tops so I was so happy that that is what they installed!

The lounge: The lounge isn’t huge but I love how it opens straight into the garden, it’s perfect in the summer for just letting the garden be an extension of the lounge!

Bathrooms: We have three bathrooms in total, a toilet downstairs, the main bathroom on the first floor with the actual bath tub and then an en suite up on the second floor connected to our master bedroom.

Spare bedroom/guest room/office/future nursery: I love this room, one day it will become another bedroom for the next baby but right now it is my office for my work from home days and blogging but most excitingly it is a spare room. Harrison’s god parents all live at least an hour and a half drive away so it is amazing having a room that they can stay in. We got the best bed for this room so I’ll share that soon!

Harrison’s bedroom: This room is actually our biggest bedroom but as the master bedroom is up on the second floor this room made more sense to be his room. I have some really exciting ideas for this room when we are able to paint.

Our bedroom: We are up on the second floor in the eves. We also have a storage room/walk in wardrobe and again some really exciting plans for this room to be this beautiful serene space when we are able to decorate. I’m hoping this room will be the biggest transformation of the whole house.

Hallways, gardens etc
