JULY GOALS + a June round up
Another month, another set of goals. So in honour of the beginning of July… here are my July goals!
My big goal for June was to spend more time reconnecting with my toddler. Obviously, that is a goal for my life as a whole but after a few busy months I decided I needed to refocus and concentrate on getting down and playing with my boy more!
We have been to soft play, we have been to fire station open days, but most importantly we have mostly been playing and doing the things he loves most like going for walks and playing out in the garden.

So here are my goals for July:
My health is back as a key focus in my life this month as my infertility struggles are still being a real point of interest so with that in mind my goals are health related:
-go back to drinking my two bottles of water a day with my hydratem8. Water is so good for health full stop, for your organs to work properly and keep everything ticking over as it should. So I figure that hydration must be important for fertility. My body is not going to work as well as it should if doesn’t have everything it needs to keep in top health.
-go running 2-3 times a week. Again this comes down to keeping my body working at it’s best performance I need to keep it in the best condition. Last summer I was really into running as was going 3 to 4 times a week getting up to 5km per run. Then when we moved house last summer I stopped, not really sure why, I’m sure I blamed being too busy, whether I was or not is another matter. So the aim of the game is to get back into going running, I’m aiming for 2 or 3 times a week because being a bit fitter would be great and seeing as I’m still not pregnant I feel I should take some time to actually get back down to my pre-pregnancy weight. At the end of the year, I am going to cringe at how many months of the year this has been a goal and how I still won’t have succeeded!
-practice mindfulness/meditation more. I am a big believer in mindfulness being good for the soul! Especially in times of being very busy or very stressed. I used to make sure I made time for 10 minutes a day, especially on the days I work but I have fallen out of the habit recently. So I’m going to give it a go again.
