A couple of days ago I introduced you to my beautiful change bag. Today you get a sneak peak inside it. This is what I carry around with me day after day in my changing bag. What I can’t live without? | Blogtober 16

For day 10 of Blogtober 16 I was asked, what is the one thing I can't live without. I hate that this is my answer but the one thing I can't live without is my phone. The shame. Obviously there are more emotional answers like my son, my partner, my mum etc etc. But on a practical level I could not live without my phone! My phone performs so many different roles in my life, it's a real life line. One aspect that makes my phone indispensable to me is that fact that it is my camera. In ... Continue Reading

Must-watch boxsets with a newborn | Blogtober 16

These days I try to limit how much the tv is on around the house during the day when Harrison is around. (Note I said 'try to', I don't actually succeed anywhere near as much as I would like to). But when he was a teeny tiny newborn, boxset sets got me through the those lazy newborn days. Why I blog? | Blogtober 16

When I was pregnant with Harrison I decided this was the pivotal moment in life that I would always want to look back on so I started making YouTube vlogs documenting my pregnancy. After pregnancy I had grand plans of uploading regularly. Strangely enough that is ... Continue Reading

Career planned as a child | Blogtober ’16 Day 5

What career did I have planned as a child? As a child I wanted to be a midwife, that then changed to lawyer when I watched Legally Blonde! Standard, Reese Witherspoon infatuation to blame then. Then in my teens was when I became interested in mental health and decided that's the field I want to work in, have studied for and plan to continue with. However, I must admit since falling pregnant with Harrison I have thought about midwifery as a career several times. I find pregnancy and child ... Continue Reading

Share a secret | Blogtober ’16 Day 4

Share a secret about yourself. This was probably the trickiest this month to think of what to write about. As a new blogger I have been using the themes as inspiration as posts to let my readers find out more about me. This topic should have been a great one to do this with. But, having said that, I'm not about to share any deep, dark secrets about myself for this! What can I share that is actually appropriate to put out there on the Internet?! This is more of an embarrassing story than ... Continue Reading
